Appendicks

—-Audiovisual noise, movements, accidents, improvisation and dialog—

Appendicks is an audiovisual performance that closely explores common objects. Essentially found in the street, these metal and plastic objects are placed in a wooden box that’s amplified by three contact microphones.

Webcams and microscope cameras are then placed around this prepared chamber, and manipulated in realtime. The images are processed live using custom software, and in close conjunction with the audio performance.

Appendicks performs live, and their intuitive sets are influenced just as much by improvised music as by music concrète.
